Network Engineer

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the job incumbent will be mainly required to:

Main Duties

Manage a portfolio of clients in the field of LAN & broadband access network (wired or wireless), structured cabling, LAN & WAN and security
Prepare quotes for network solutions
Establish networking environment by designing system configuration, directing system installation, defining, documenting and enforcing system standards
Troubleshoot network problems and outages
Undertake data network fault investigations in local and wide area environments
Support and configure firewall environments in line with IT security policy
Report network operational status
Monitor capacity management and audit of IP addressing and hosted devices within data centers
Develop, maintain and test Disaster Recovery Plan for the organization
Troubleshoot and network operating system
Prepare technical reports

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Degree in IT with CCNA/CCNP Certification
Minimum two years of proven working experience in a similar field
Hands on IT skills (Windows Server operating systems, Microsoft Exchange, Cisco Networking and Storage Area network)
Additional certification, including Fortinet, Ruckus, Microsoft and Avaya would be an advantage
