Reporting to the Operations Manager of the Electrical Department, the job incumbent will be mainly required to:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design medium and low voltage electrical installations
• Identify all technical aspects of electrical and fire alarm tenders
• Value-engineer of electrical and fire alarm designs
• Attend design meetings
• Require material take-off from drawings
• Liaise with local and overseas suppliers
• Prepare and price bill of quantities
• Prepare tender compliance sheets
• Attend tender negotiation meetings
• Conduct handing over meetings between tendering team, QS team and site teams
• Conduct site surveys and prepare material & labour breakdown

Qualifications & Experience

• BEng in Electrical/ Electronics Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 4 years of working experience in a similar position
• Fully conversant with electrical shop drawings and construction drawings
• Registration with the CRPEM would be an advantage

Other Requisites

• Strong leadership skills
• Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Willing to work odd hours
• Private car driving license
