Reporting to the Contracts Manager, the job incumbent will be mainly required to:

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Senior Engineer with the management of the site operations of HVAC contracting
• Assist Senior Engineer in preparing shop drawings
• Assist with the design calculations for air-conditioning equipment installations
• Follow-up on actions agreed upon during site meetings
• Assist with the preparation and submission of reports for mechanical works in air-conditioning
• Follow-up on clients’ queries-operational and technical issues
• Prepare quotations, Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and claims
• Assist Senior Engineer with the troubleshooting and commissioning of HVAC installations and VRV systems
• Assist Senior Engineer with supply of equipment and sub contract services pertaining to mechanical works in air-conditioning
• Assist Senior Engineer in ensuring that the team members adhere to H&S policies and procedures

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of experience acquired preferably in a contracting environment specialized in HVAC field
• Fully conversant with HVAC shop drawings and construction drawings

Other Requisites:

• Self-organizer with strong analytical skills
• Computer literate and fully conversant with Microsoft Office tools
• Possess thorough knowledge in AutoCAD
• Able to handle pressure and work within tight deadlines
