Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Contracts Manager, the job incumbent will be mainly required to:
Ensure efficient daily operations and maintenance of site operations for the plumbing division
Prepare shop drawings and calculations for submission to consultants / architects / clients
Establish productivity targets with supervisors and staff
Follow-up on actions agreed upon during site meetings
Provide technical support and training to maintenance and repair teams
Prepare and submit reports for mechanical works
Follow-up on clients’ queries - operational and technical issues
Assist with the preparation of quotations, bill of quantities and claims
Effect troubleshooting and commissioning of plumbing / electrical installations
Assist with sourcing of equipment and sub-contracting of services pertaining to electrical / mechanical works
Qualifications & Experience
BEng in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics
Minimum 10 years of experience acquired preferably in a contracting environment specialized in plumbing field
Fully conversant with shop drawings and construction drawings
Other Requisites
Self-organizer with strong analytical skills.
Possess thorough knowledge in AutoCAD
Able to handle pressure and work within tight deadlines
Holder of a valid and clean driving license
